I do not have OCD, but I can definitely relate to depression...and I have osteoarthritis. Although I have never per se had a panic attack, I know what it is to be fearful in new situations, especially if the environment is a hostile one. I was in a special class in elementary and high school for "slow learners". To look and talk to me you cannot tell that I have a slight learning disability, but let's just say that it takes me longer than the "average" person to pick things up, especially in a non-friendly and non-patient environment. Thanks again for sharing your story, I wish more people would talk about their struggles with issues and mental health.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12692170857496442623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6831964660986535542.post-29498659735974029952013-02-16T18:35:02.073-05:002013-02-16T18:35:02.073-05:00thanks tina, i appreciate your writing and explain...thanks tina, i appreciate your writing and explaination!! have a happy sunday!!Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16823369215793154260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6831964660986535542.post-67256029090775376532013-02-16T16:09:17.642-05:002013-02-16T16:09:17.642-05:00Madison, thank you. With the therapy, people with OCD "expose" themselves to situations that they obsess about, and then try not to perform the compulsions that they normally would do to try to alleviate the anxiety. They learn to live with the anxiety until is wanes.

Writing about my experiences has been very therapeutic and rewarding for me.Tina Fariss Barbourhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15659018994558471570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6831964660986535542.post-19541162325178451232013-02-16T13:01:42.706-05:002013-02-16T13:01:42.706-05:00Thank you, Nancy.
