Lovely photos Tina such lovely scenery. November is a mix of weather from cold frosty sunny days to rainy, blowy days to snowy days...Today was a lovely clear sunny frosty day. Which for tonight is a good thing because it is Guy Fawkes night here in UK with bonfires and fireworks.
We're getting clouds and rain, and the annual darkness is starting to set in. We never saw leaves change in Houston, or not much anyway, so we're enjoying our first "real" autumn in more than 30 years! The tourists have gone home, and the Saturday farmers' market has quieted down, cutting its hours and selling to a smaller group of people.
Today, it actually felt a bit cold (about 45 degrees) here in southern NH. Which, frankly, feels so nice to me because my meds make me hot all the time!
Lovely photographs, Tina. It's anything but autumn here in California. I wore a t-shirt and shorts all day in our 81 degree weather. The only hint that it's fall is in the morning when there's a slight crispness to the air. It's nice to be reminded of what November should really look and feel like.
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt's cold and raining today. A perfect November Saturday!
Elizabeth, thank you. Sounds like the perfect day to stay inside with a good book!
DeleteSo far it's mostly cloudy. I need to go take some more pictures now that the leaves have changed. We get some really beautiful fall colors here.
ReplyDeleteKristina, I love the fall colors. I'm glad you have a beautiful array where you are.

DeleteAfter moving back to New England having been in Florida for four years, I've loved the fall colors.......but it's too cold :)!
ReplyDeleteJanet, I can imagine that the temperature difference between Florida and New England in November is noticeable! :-)

ReplyDeleteSunny, I like the cooler weather we've been getting, too, though we usually go above the 40s during the day.
DeletePortland, Oregon, is having a few partly sunny, almost balmy days in a generally rainy, gray November, typical of the Pacific Northwest.
ReplyDeleteGalen, glad you're getting a respite from the rain!
